Proudly South African Creative Collaborations

The key concept of Wanderland Collective is to create a playful space where talented South Africans can collaborate in fun and exciting ways.

For our first artist collaboration with Nicole Levenberg of Aureum Design, we decided to create a rich, eccentric and layered photo shoot to show off the luxurious underwater-inspired silk scarves, twillys, velvet embroidered handbags and pouches from the collection. With this in mind we created four iconic visuals of strong women laden with intricately patterned silk scarves, incredibly rich floral couture and bold glamorous jewelry.

The dramatic visuals could definitely not have been achieved without the collaborative contributions of Karen Dalton of Dalton & Bloom. Karen is a true floral master and her incredible textured flower headcrowns, neckpieces, cuffs and arm bangles brought our vision to life. Inspired by the four colourways from the collection along with the underwater textures of mosses, coral and shells, she created the most beautiful and intricately curated floral sculptural pieces that really crowned the collection.

In addition to this floral magic, local jewelry favourite, Pichulik, also generously contributed their gorgeous accessories to add that little bit of extra glam to the shoot. Bold gold earrings dotted with pearls, thick knotted cascading neck pieces and multi banded moss bangles added that last finishing touch.

Wanderland Collective prides itself on creative collaborations and is always keeping an eye out for any exciting new talents we can work with.
