Wanderland Collective and Renée Rossouw's 'Line Drought'

It is with much delight and excitement that we officially introduce artist designer and multi-talented collaborator, Renée Rossouw's "Line Drought" series into the Wanderland Collective range of scatter cushions.

The artworks that grace these cushions were created by Renée in response to the Cape Town drought. In these visually striking homeware pieces, one can almost feel the dry charcoal lines made by Renée in the original artworks. From her hands, the works translates into a statement design pieces, grabbing one’s eye and then inspiring all who view it.

We see these scatter cushions as both design artworks, as well as articles that declare one’s allegiance to our beautiful planet.

“I am excited that these drawings made essentially from rock now also exist on fabric, to soften the medium and act as a gentle reminder that our interaction with nature should be gentle too.”
